PC Repair and Upgrades

PC Hardware - I am able to diagnose most problems with PC's (and the majority of laptops) and can recommend and provide replacement or upgraded hardware (although in the case of laptops this is usually very expensive or impossible).

Operating Systems - I am able to backup and re-install the majority of Windows installations (including Vista). Your existing data will be moved to an external drive, the old Windows system removed and a fresh, faster one installed. Your data will then be returned to the computer. I am able to provide free Open-Source replacements for many programs at little or no extra cost.

Linux - I have a few years experience in the day to day running of a Linux system and have created my own Games orientated Distro based on Puppy Linux called Gamepup 216. In many ways, it excels for simpler tasks such as web browsing and office work. It uses less memory and is easy to configure to suit your needs. You can even run some of your favorite Windows software if you need to! It is possible to install Linux alongside your existing Windows system without adverse affect allowing you to use it when and if you wish to.

Availability - I am available to work in the general area of Bath and East of Bristol (eg Kingswood/Brislington). As this is not my primary job, I will need to arrange a suitable time to either visit you or pick up your equipment.
